September 2023 Monthly Newsletter

A lot has been going on at Read Design over the past few months and we are excited to share all of this with you.

First – this is our first newsletter and a new one will be shared at the beginning of every month to give you information of new Design Trends, New Products, and any Specials or Rebates that you can take advantage of. This is an exciting time to renew and refresh your home.

Both of our Hunter Douglas Gallery remodels are now complete. The new look is clean and updated with all of the products showing PowerView Automation. Of course you can get products in a number of different lift systems. One Gallery is in Plano and the other one in Southlake. This is a great opportunity to come in, touch and feel, and try out the automation.

One of our Hunter Douglas Products that has been updated is the Provenance Woven Shades. Provenance Woven Wood Shades bring an organic style to your home. Handcrafted, natural materials are artistically woven to create a design story of light, texture, and color at every window. Customize your light and privacy through the day with the optional independent operable liner featuring an energy-efficient honeycomb fabric.

Two of our favorite Woven Shades are Soho and Chile. We love the variation of paints and stains, minor cracks, knots and grain pattern irregularities. A natural for Woven Woods.

The rd home store at the Plano location has had a new facelift to give a fresh look with a modern traditional vibe. It is restocked with a lot of new products for your home. Lots of pillows, lamps, and other home furnishings to give you inspiration. And we can order anything you can imagine.

We also have received so many new fabric books with exciting prints, colors and textures. But most exciting is our new trim line- Samuel and Sons- these are beautiful!! Unique!!! And so Many!!! We have expanded our Professional Installation team. We feel that these 3 guys are the best in the business and work hard to get your shades, draperies, and more to you in a timely and professional manor. They work hard and have had so many complements.

But we are most excited to share is that we will be expanding into the Prosper area. This will be our third store and will open in early summer 2024. Of course you know how building goes?!?! We will be located at the southwest corner of Preston Road and Frontier. The building, or should I say the ground, is moving and being prepared for the new build now. We will send monthly reports and pictures to show the progress. The store will be facing Preston Road. This shopping area already is home to Animias Mexican Restaurant, Jersey Mikes, Dunkin Donuts and more so we will have many places for breakfast and lunch – right Brian??? We are hoping Jersey Mikes has a good bologna and mustard sandwich.

Next month we will be sharing a few new products from Hunter Douglas and these are exciting!! In fact we have not seen anything like these before.
